Product safety and quality is a top priority for Galt Toys Inc. All of our products comply with or exceed current toy safety regulations (primarily ASTM F963-17).
Rigorous quality control is applied at all stages of development, production and distribution, and all Galt toys are routinely inspected and tested to maintain the highest standards in quality and safety.
All Galt products are manufactured in accordance with and adhere to the standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, and the EN71 Toy Safety Standards, as confirmed by the Lion Mark and CE standard during manufacture by our factories.
James Galt is a member of the British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA) demonstrating our commitment to adhere to the BTHA Code of Practice.
Only BTHA members are allowed to display the Lion Mark on their packaging. BTHA members sign a declaration to agree to strict safety and ethical manufacturing standards.
They must sign a licence agreement with the Association, which sets out the terms of its use. Failure to abide by these terms will lead to revocation of the licence.
All Galt sets containing Slime in any form, comply with the requirements of the EU toxicity standard, EN71-3 that incorporates safety tests for the restricted heavy metal Boron.
All Galt Slime toys have Boron levels lower than the specified limits for compliance to the safety standards.
